It is always hard to write about yourself, but I will give it a go.

We are Becky and Ryan Richmond, Lakeland residents and devotees to the Lakeland way of life. We moved to Florida from Omaha Nebraska in 2015 and immediately knew we had found our forever community.

Ryan is a 22 yr retired Coast Guard member and worked in IT for Polk County. I am a serial entrepreneur who has worked in several industries, most recently, transportation. Ryan is originally from Illinois and is a Bellevue University alum. I am originally from western South Dakota and am a UNO alum and a Bellevue University Grad School alum.

We opened Teriyaki Madness in 2019 and have loved building a crazy delicious following. When the space next to TMad opened up we hoped an ice cream shop would fill the spot, then decided to make that hope a reality by opening one ourselves.

We love to travel and the menu at Lakeland Treats and Trinkets is based on some of the delicious food we have had in our journeys. We have taken the most amazing meals from locations across the world and creatively modified them into waffelwiches and croissanwiches, salads and desserts. We also have a few family recipes sprinkled in. Our Grandma Shirley cookies are amazing!
